	Carleton UMC was founded in 1968 when two Methodist and two Evangelical United Brethren churches combined their ministries into one congregation. This rich and diverse heritage remains one of our strengths today. We are a loving, prayerful congregation which seeks to grow spiritually by the study and application of God's word.
	We are located in the greater Monroe, Michigan area, in the historic city of Carleton. We are on Grafton Road, just south of the Carleton Rockwood / Grafton intersection.
